Our remote team is looking for a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS expertise and a robust understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

As our Product Engineer, you will engage in designing and constructing scalable and maintainable software solutions. Your diverse technology expertise should encompass areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, alongside Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborative engagement with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise solutions
  • Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
  • Development and maintenance of code adhering to clean coding principles
  • Undertaking of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
  • Establishment and conservation of automated tests for assuring deliverable quality
  • Active participation in the Agile/Scrum development cycle and ceremonies
  • Assurance of punctual code delivery and quality
  • Documentation of code and system architecture
  • Engaging in system design and architecture discussions
  • Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • A minimum of 4 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java
  • Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Previous exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
  • Fluency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
  • Acquainted with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Proficient in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
  • Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Fluent English speaking with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills for effective remote team collaboration
Nice to have
  • Previous exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
