We seek a Senior Java Developer possessing AWS proficiency and a comprehensive grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your duties will include designing and building software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your expertise will span various technology areas including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, coupled with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You'll work as part of a team of developers, testers, and stakeholders, guaranteeing timely and successful delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Cooperation with multi-disciplinary teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Generation and maintenance of code following clean coding practices
- Execution of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Development and upkeep of automated tests to assess the quality of deliverables
- Active participation in the Agile/Scrum development process and its associated ceremonies
- Assuring timely and high-quality code delivery
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Active engagement in system design and architecture discussions
- Provision of technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Existing experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go language
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, as well as APIs and Integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Fluency in English with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful interaction with remote teams
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
- Understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
