We are actively searching for a skilled Senior Java Developer to become a part of our remote team. The ideal candidate will hold proficiency in AWS and demonstrate a thorough understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
Your role as our Product Engineer involves the design and construction of software solutions that have a focus on scalability and maintainability. We expect you to possess proficiency in a variety of technology areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role calls for collaboration amongst a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver products on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with multiple teams to comprehend project requirements and develop solutions
- Development and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Production and upkeep of code that adheres to clean coding principles
- Conducting code reviews for compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and upkeep of automated tests for deliverable quality assurance
- Involvement in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality code
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Active contribution to discussions on system design and architecture
- Provision of technical support and mentorship for junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with a specific focus on Java
- Previous exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Skillset in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Prior experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL, along with tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive problem-solving capability
- Fluent English speakers with an upper-intermediate level or higher, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Previous exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
