We're seeking a Senior Java Developer who specializes in AWS and boasts a comprehensive understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, you will be tasked with designing and building software solutions that are not only scalable but also maintainable. Your technological prowess is expected to span across multiple areas including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, as well as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role calls for active engagement within a team of developers, testers, and other players to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and develop solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software solutions
- Creation and maintenance of code using clean coding practices
- Conducting code reviews for compliance with coding standards
- Developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the product's quality
- Active contribution in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Ensuring timely and high-quality code delivery
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Engagement in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship and technical advice to junior developers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of software development experience with a focus on Java
- Prior AWS experience
- Competency in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Strong ownership mindset coupled with proactive problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English at the level of Upper-Intermediate or higher, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills, vital for effective collaboration with remote teams
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
