We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team. Our client, a global provider of insurance core systems, is dedicated to delivering capabilities that empower insurers to achieve growth and enhance operational efficiency. As a Senior Java Developer, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support the insurance industry's evolving needs, utilizing your expertise in Java and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements
- Design and develop high-quality Java applications using Spring framework
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React
- Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build and deploy scalable and reliable applications
- Integrate applications with Kafka for efficient data streaming and processing
- Work with various databases, including Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Oracle, to manage data effectively
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Java Developer, demonstrating strong Java programming skills
- Proficiency in Spring framework for building robust and scalable applications
- Experience with React for creating interactive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based application development and deployment
- Familiarity with Kafka for building efficient data streaming solutions
- Expertise in working with databases, including Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Proficiency in Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Fluent in English at a B2+ level, enabling effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with other frontend frameworks like Angular or Vue.js
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms or services
