We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading software development company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and documentation
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java 8 or later
- Experience in developing web applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Data
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and REST APIs
- Ability to work with Angular, Amazon Web Services, and other related technologies
- Experience in designing and developing microservices-based architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Oracle PLSQL/SQL, Git
- Experience with Maven or Graddle, Rundeck
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins
- Experience with MongoDB, AWS EC2, and AWS S3
