We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to become part of our remote team.
The Senior Java Developer will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of top-quality software solutions for our clients. Utilizing expertise in Java and related technologies like AWS and Angular, the developer will create scalable, robust software applications. This role provides an exciting chance to engage in a variety of projects across diverse domains and be part of a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in the entire software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance
- Creation of scalable, high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs
- Design and implementation of RESTful APIs for internal and external usage
- Deployment of applications to AWS cloud environments ensuring their scalability and reliability
- Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other team members
- Adherence to software development best practices and contribution to the continuous improvement of the development process
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a robust understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying applications to cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
