We're seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team.
In this role, you will be tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of top-quality software solutions for our clients. Utilizing your expertise in Java and associated technologies like AWS and Angular, you'll create robust, scalable software applications. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across various domains as part of a dynamic team, delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in the complete software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance
- Creation of scalable, high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs
- Design and implementation of RESTful APIs for both internal and external usage
- Deployment of applications to AWS cloud environments, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to team members
- Adherence to and contribution towards the improvement of software development best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the deployment of applications to cloud environments
- Profound familiarity with Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
