We're searching for a Senior Java Developer to enhance our remote team.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to design, develop, and maintain top-tier software solutions for our clientele. Your knowledge of Java and related technologies such as AWS and Angular will be crucial in creating scalable, robust software applications. This role offers the excitement of working on diverse projects across varying domains and being an integral part of a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, deployment, and maintenance
- Creation of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that fulfill customer requirements
- Design and implementation of RESTful APIs for both internal and external usage
- Deployment of applications to AWS cloud environments while ensuring their scalability and reliability
- Execution of code reviews and provision of feedback to fellow team members
- Upholding of software development best practices and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the development process
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Java development, with a solid grasp of software development principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying applications to cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or other contemporary JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Prior experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
