We are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer with expertise in Azure to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions that drive our business objectives.
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable and high-performance applications using Java and related technologies. You will work with a team of talented developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our software products meet or exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of software products
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing
- Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals
- Identify and address software issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java software development, with a focus on developing scalable and high-performance applications using Core Java and Spring Frameworks
- Strong familiarity with Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, utilizing cloud resources to optimize software development and deployment
- Expertise in Hibernate for object-relational mapping and efficient database access
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for effective data querying and manipulation
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Familiarity with REST for building scalable and resilient microservices
- Experience using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex software issues
- Fluent English communication skills at an Upper-Intermediate level, facilitating effective collaboration and communication
