We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Java Cloud Developer to become part of our remote team. Our company is at the forefront of technology, specializing in providing cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-based solutions utilizing the Agile development process
- Uphold high-quality standards across all stages of development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot code in large-scale, complex environments
- Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement
- Drive the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
- Mentor and guide junior team members, helping them enhance their skills and advance their careers
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
- Expertise in Kotlin, Scala, or Go languages for developing scalable and high-performance applications
- Experience with AWS for cloud-based infrastructure and application management
- Expertise in Clean Code principles for writing maintainable and efficient code
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for designing and managing database schema and queries
- Expertise in building Java Microservices using Spring Framework
- Deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms for efficient application development
- Experience with API integration for building scalable and modular systems
- Expertise in CI/CD for version control, integration, and deployment
- System Design experience
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
