Join our remote team as a Senior Java Cloud Developer within a leading-edge technology company that specializes in providing cloud-based solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer with a deep understanding of Java and cloud technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with the latest technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing cloud-based solutions using the Agile development process
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Ensuring high-quality standards at every stage of development
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting code in large-scale, complex environments
  • Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
  • Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Driving the implementation of solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
  • Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Scala, or Go languages for developing scalable and high-performance applications
  • Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for designing and managing database schema and queries
  • Experience with AWS for cloud-based infrastructure and application management
  • Deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms for efficient application development
  • Expertise in Clean Code principles for writing maintainable and efficient code
  • Proven experience in Problem-Solving and System Design for developing complex systems
  • Expertise in building Java Microservices using Spring Framework
  • Experience with API integration for building scalable and modular systems
  • Expertise in CI/CD for version control, integration, and deployment
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud-based infrastructure technologies such as Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with ownership of product development and requirement elicitation
  • Experience with a big picture view mindset
