We are seeking a Senior iOS Swift Developer to join our remote team.
Your primary focus will be updating the mobile build system for a major iOS update that is on the horizon, with the goal of reducing operational risk. You will also be responsible for enhancing the user experience of the Mobile 3.0 application.
Responsibilities
- Update the mobile build system in preparation for the upcoming major iOS update
- Enhance the user experience of the Mobile 3.0 application
- Reduce operational risk associated with the September iOS update
- Update build dependency to xCode15 per new Apple requirement
- Build and test the mobile app in the iOS development environment
- Fix any breakages or bugs that arise during the development process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, and design teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on Swift
- Expertise in C++ and Objective-C, with proficiency in iOS development
- Experience in updating build systems and dependency management for iOS applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on maximizing efficiency and reducing operational risk
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English language, with at least an Upper-Intermediate level competency for effective communication with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like XCTest
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
