We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. In this position, you'll lead the design, development, and evolution of our native iOS applications, establishing the technical direction and engineering standards for the platform. Leveraging a modern development stack built around Swift, you'll architect elegant, highly performant, and intuitive mobile experiences that delight our customers and scale with our business.
You'll collaborate strategically with product managers, product designers (UX/UI), backend developers, and mentor fellow mobile engineers, guiding features from initial concept and technical discovery through to a successful launch on the Apple App Store
- Architect, build, and evolve native iOS applications with Swift, making key technical decisions that shape the long-term direction of the platform
- Define and advocate for best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns throughout the iOS codebase
- Partner with product designers to deliver responsive, pixel-perfect, and highly interactive user interfaces aligned with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), while contributing to design discussions from a technical feasibility perspective
- Design robust integrations with backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs, guaranteeing smooth, dynamic, and resilient user experiences
- Produce clean, modular, and maintainable code; lead code reviews, share constructive feedback, and maintain consistency and high quality across the codebase
- Set up comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and UI tests (using XCTest), to safeguard application stability; proactively track and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption via Instruments
- Own the application release lifecycle from start to finish, including preparing builds, handling certificates and provisioning, and submitting apps through App Store Connect
- Mentor and coach mid-level and junior engineers, nurturing their technical growth and helping to shape a high-performing engineering culture
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and uncover opportunities for technical innovation
- 3+ years of experience in native iOS application development, with a proven history of shipping and maintaining production-grade apps
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple developer tools (Xcode, Instruments)
- Strong command of modern iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, and Swift Concurrency), with the capability to choose and justify the right approach for a given problem
- Solid hands-on skills in SwiftUI (preferred) and UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs)
- Proven background in CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise) and managing the full release lifecycle through App Store Connect
- Advanced expertise in Git and leading collaborative workflows across distributed teams
- Demonstrated capability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives within an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating tasks via tools like Jira
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
