We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. In this position, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of our native iOS applications, setting the technical direction and engineering standards for the platform. Leveraging a modern development stack built around Swift, you will architect elegant, highly performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences that delight our customers and scale alongside our business.
You will collaborate strategically with product managers, product designers (UX/UI), backend developers, and mentor fellow mobile engineers, guiding features from initial concept and technical discovery all the way to a successful launch on the Apple App Store.
- Architect, build, and evolve native iOS applications using Swift, making pivotal technical decisions that shape the long-term direction of the platform
- Define and advocate for best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across the iOS codebase
- Partner with product designers to deliver responsive, pixel-perfect, and highly interactive user interfaces aligned with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), while contributing to design discussions from a technical feasibility perspective
- Design resilient integrations with backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless, dynamic, and dependable user experiences
- Produce clean, modular, and maintainable code; lead code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain consistency and high quality across the codebase
- Build comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and UI tests (using XCTest), to safeguard application stability; proactively monitor and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption using Instruments
- Manage the application release lifecycle end-to-end, including preparing builds, handling certificates and provisioning, and submitting apps via App Store Connect
- Guide and coach mid-level and junior engineers, nurturing their technical growth and helping to cultivate a high-performing engineering culture
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and uncover opportunities for technical innovation
- 3+ years of experience in native iOS application development, with a demonstrated track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade apps
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple developer tools (Xcode, Instruments)
- Knowledge of modern iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, and Swift Concurrency), with the ability to select and justify the right approach for a given problem
- Hands-on background in SwiftUI (preferred) and UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs)
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise) and managing the full release lifecycle via App Store Connect
- Advanced skills in Git and leading collaborative workflows across distributed teams
- Demonstrated capability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives in an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating tasks via tools like Jira
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
