We are searching for a seasoned and visionary Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and evolution of our native iOS applications, setting the technical direction and engineering standards for the platform. Working with a modern development stack centered around Swift, you will architect sleek, highly performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences that delight our customers and scale with our business.
You will partner strategically with product managers, product designers (UX/UI), backend developers, and mentor fellow mobile engineers, driving features from early concept and technical discovery through to a successful launch on the Apple App Store.
- Architect, build, and evolve native iOS applications using Swift, making key technical decisions that shape the long-term direction of the platform
- Define and champion best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns across the iOS codebase
- Collaborate with product designers to implement responsive, pixel-perfect, and highly interactive user interfaces adhering to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), while contributing to design discussions from a technical feasibility standpoint
- Design robust integrations with backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring smooth, dynamic, and resilient user experiences
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code. Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure consistency and high quality across the codebase
- Establish comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and UI tests (using XCTest), to secure application stability. Proactively monitor and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption using Instruments
- Own the application release lifecycle end-to-end, including preparing builds, managing certificates and provisioning, and submitting apps via App Store Connect
- Mentor and coach mid-level and junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and helping to build a high-performing engineering culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and identify opportunities for technical innovation
- 3+ years of experience in native iOS application development, with a proven track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade apps
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep mastery of the iOS SDK and Apple developer tools (Xcode, Instruments)
- Strong command of modern iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, and Swift Concurrency), with the ability to select and justify the right approach for a given problem
- Solid hands-on experience with SwiftUI (preferred) and UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise) and managing the full release lifecycle via App Store Connect
- Advanced experience with Git and leading collaborative workflows across distributed teams
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives in an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating tasks via tools like Jira
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
