We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior iOS Software Engineer to become part of our mobile engineering team. Within this role, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of our native iOS applications, establishing the technical direction and engineering standards for the platform. Leveraging a modern development stack built around Swift, you will architect elegant, highly performant, and intuitive mobile experiences that delight our customers and scale alongside our business.
You will collaborate strategically with product managers, product designers (UX/UI), and backend developers, and guide fellow mobile engineers, driving features from initial concept and technical discovery all the way to a successful launch on the Apple App Store.
- Architect, build, and evolve native iOS applications with Swift, making pivotal technical decisions that shape the long-term direction of the platform
- Define and advocate for best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns throughout the iOS codebase
- Partner with product designers to deliver responsive, pixel-perfect, and highly interactive user interfaces aligned with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), while contributing to design discussions from a technical feasibility perspective
- Craft robust integrations with backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless, dynamic, and resilient user experiences
- Produce clean, modular, and maintainable code; lead code reviews, share constructive feedback, and maintain consistency and high quality across the codebase
- Build comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and UI tests (via XCTest), to safeguard application stability; proactively monitor and optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption through Instruments
- Manage the application release lifecycle end-to-end, including preparing builds, handling certificates and provisioning, and submitting apps via App Store Connect
- Guide and coach mid-level and junior engineers, nurturing their technical growth and helping cultivate a high-performing engineering culture
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product roadmaps and uncover opportunities for technical innovation
- 3+ years of experience in native iOS application development, with a demonstrated track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade apps
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and deep mastery of the iOS SDK and Apple developer tools (Xcode, Instruments)
- Strong command of modern iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, and Swift Concurrency), with the capability to select and justify the right approach for a given problem
- Solid hands-on skills in SwiftUI (preferred) and UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs)
- Proven background in CI/CD pipelines for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise) and managing the full release lifecycle through App Store Connect
- Advanced expertise in Git and steering collaborative workflows across distributed teams
- Showcase of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives within an Agile/Scrum environment, coordinating tasks via tools like Jira
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
