We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to strengthen a managed team supporting a client platform in AWS Kubernetes production. You will drive infrastructure modernization, GitHub Actions CI/CD migrations, Terraform IaC, hardening, Symantec Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) integration, and Datadog observability updates. Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance Kubernetes-based infrastructure that runs production web services and workers
  • Modernize CI/CD by designing, migrating, optimizing, and troubleshooting GitHub Actions pipelines
  • Coordinate repository, tooling, and work management migrations, including GitHub and JIRA-related integrations
  • Implement and operate Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform
  • Improve deployment automation and enable GitOps or declarative deployment practices
  • Support AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services such as RDS PostgreSQL, S3, CloudFront, Redis, and related components
  • Harden environments by improving access control and secure infrastructure configuration
  • Support identity and access governance initiatives, including integration with enterprise IGA platforms
  • Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices using tools such as Datadog
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, implementation planning, and infrastructure reviews
  • Document infrastructure updates, operational runbooks, and handoff materials
  • Collaborate with the client's teams to ensure changes meet security, compliance, and engineering quality standards
Requirements
  • Proven 5+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering experience
  • Advanced expertise with Kubernetes in production environments and strong AWS cloud experience
  • Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
  • Deep background in CI/CD, including GitHub Actions pipeline design and migration work
  • Practical experience with deployment automation, GitOps, or declarative infrastructure practices
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, access control, RBAC, and least-privilege principles
  • Demonstrated ability to support production-grade infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
  • Familiarity with observability tooling, preferably Datadog
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern working hours
Nice to have
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with identity governance and administration platforms
  • Familiarity with AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, S3, and CloudFront or similar cloud services
  • Experience supporting repository migrations, CI/CD platform migrations, or work management tool integrations
  • Experience working in enterprise security and compliance environments
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned controls, GDPR-related requirements, and audit logging practices
  • Experience working with distributed agile engineering teams
