We are seeking a talented Senior Go Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading technology company in the cloud infrastructure industry. As a Senior Go Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining highly scalable and reliable software systems using Go and Python. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, as well as improve existing ones. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, such as AWS, Kubernetes, and NoSQL tools, and to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable software systems using Go and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, as well as improve existing ones
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business success
- Ensure the quality of software systems through automated testing and continuous integration and delivery
- Maintain and improve existing software systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date and meet business requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for software engineering
- Write clear and concise documentation to ensure that your work is well-documented and easy to understand
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering and cloud infrastructure
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-time, full-stack software engineering experience, demonstrating your expertise in the field
- Expert knowledge of Go and/or Python, showcasing your proficiency in these languages
- Practical experience building software systems with AWS or another major cloud provider, highlighting your understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Implementing scalable, high-available, multi-region applications, demonstrating your ability to design and develop complex systems
- Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Writing clear and concise documentation, ensuring that your work is well-documented and easy to understand
- Building CICD pipelines with automated testing, showcasing your ability to deliver high-quality software
- Running experiments and producing measurable results, highlighting your data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
