We are searching for an experienced Senior Go Engineer to enhance our SBOM delivery systems, ensuring seamless integration with our existing services. You'll contribute to maintaining clean supply-chain data and aligning with OCM principles, while working with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to improve our internal Go services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal Go services focusing on the integration of delivery information into SBOMs
- Build and operate Kubernetes components, including controllers and operators, to ensure seamless system performance
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, incorporating GitHub workflows, container builds, caching, and security checks
- Troubleshoot pipeline operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability in deployment processes
- Implement and manage REST/gRPC APIs to facilitate smooth communication between services
- Work with SBOM formats such as CycloneDX to maintain accurate dependency and supply-chain data
- Develop and utilize Docker containers for application packaging and deployment
- Ensure integration with container registries, signing tools, and dependency scanning utilities
- Support cloud infrastructure by applying basic cloud concepts to improve scalability and overall performance
Requirements
- Expertise in Go with a proven track record of engineering experience (3+ years)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, including controllers and operators, with hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads
- Skills in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance, covering GitHub pipelines, container builds, and troubleshooting complex workflows
- Background in Docker, REST/gRPC, or similar APIs, with practical knowledge of containerized applications
- Familiarity with supply-chain security concepts, SBOM formats like CycloneDX, and tools for registry integration and signing
- Understanding of cloud ecosystems and general cloud concepts, with the flexibility to adapt them to system needs
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with advanced dependency scanning tools
- Understanding of additional SBOM standards or alternatives to CycloneDX
