Senior Go Developer

We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the Backend migration plan to serve existing and future customers.

You will be involved in designing and implementing a new Backend architecture, as well as shifting from the old Backend to the new Backend. Our ideal candidate is highly proficient in Golang, familiar with SQL and Databases, and has experience in Cloud API development and invocation.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a new Backend architecture
  • Execute the Backend migration plan to serve existing and future customers
  • Develop and deploy containerized applications on the cloud
  • Integrate media processing functionality (especially videos) into the new Backend
  • Ensure the new Backend architecture aligns with business objectives and customer needs
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the Backend architecture and processes
  • Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Golang development
  • Strong proficiency in the Go language with a good understanding of its ecosystem
  • Familiarity with SQL and Database
  • Experience in Cloud API development and invocation
  • Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications on the cloud
  • Experience in media processing (especially videos) preferred
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform services including but not limited to: GKE, Anthos Service Mesh (or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with Upper-Intermediate level fluency (B2+)
