We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our remote team.
You will work on a challenging project that requires expertise in Go language, GraphQL, Python, and TypeScript. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for leading the development team, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high-quality code. You will work in a collaborative environment where active communication and ownership are valued more than knowledge of any specific language.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable backend code using Go language
- Lead the development team, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality standards are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed, and technical debt is minimized
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and share knowledge with the team
- Work closely with a mentor to enhance skills and adapt to the company's development processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Go language, including experience with production apps
- 5+ years of total development experience, with a focus on backend development
- Readiness to learn new languages and technologies as required by the project
- Ability to lead a team of developers, mentor junior developers, and deliver high-quality code
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or readiness to learn
- Expertise in GraphQL and TypeScript
