We are looking for a talented Senior Go Developer to join our remote team, working with one of the top retail groups in the world. As a Senior Go Developer, you will be responsible for integrating different systems together to create a unified platform. You will be working with a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable applications using Go language and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop microservices
- Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging activities to ensure high-quality software solutions
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and design patterns
- Ensure the scalability, performance and security of software solutions
- Assist with the deployment and integration of applications into production environments
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Go language development
- In-depth knowledge of HTTP and REST API design and implementation
- Ability to design and develop Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker and experience with Kubernetes
- Expertise in Git version control system
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with frontend technologies like React or Angular
