We are seeking a Senior Go Developer to join our remote team to work directly with our customer team on their Open Source project.
This project is a Kubernetes native technology used to run and manage batch workloads on Kubernetes Clusters. In this role, you will act as both an open-source contributor and SRE to improve the software product, utilizing your excellent Kubernetes knowledge, good Go language skills, and good cloud and container architecture knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the customer team to understand and analyze their needs
- Design and professionally articulate solutions to the customer team
- Be responsible for the implementation and open-source contribution of the project
- Communicate effectively using official Kubernetes SIG channels and teams
- Think creatively and out of the box to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Go Developer with a strong understanding of Kubernetes technology
- Proven experience in Google Cloud Platform
- Strong proficiency in Systems Engineering (Linux)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex technical information to different stakeholders
- Experience with batch scheduling technologies such as ray.io, spark, or similar is a significant advantage
- Proficient in English language, with at least an Upper-Intermediate level competency for seamless communication with the team and stakeholders
