We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer to join our remote team. As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for developing application logic for a multi-component system of applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the final product is highly responsive and of high quality. Responsibilities
- Develop application logic for a multi-component system of applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ensure the final product is highly responsive and of high quality, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Deliver completed code on time and with minimal to no defects or failures, ensuring high-quality standards
- Maintain current unit test coverage standards or higher, ensuring all new logic maintains the same level of quality
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation, contributing to the enhancement of the development process
- Support testing resources as needed to remediate defects, answer questions, and assist with automation tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, demonstrating your proficiency in creating complex web applications
- In-depth knowledge of Angular, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Koa, NestJS, Express, Node.js, and TypeScript, enabling you to bring your creative ideas to life
- Strong command of software development principles and design patterns, highlighting your understanding of the broader software landscape
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, showcasing your expertise in software engineering
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Experience with Agile methodology and actively participate in Agile Ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Story Pointing, Story Elaboration, and Retrospectives
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in developing mobile applications using React Native or similar technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
