Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer
Description:
We are seeking an experienced, assertive, English-speaking Senior Full Stack Javascript Developer to take ownership of the front-end and back-end implementation of the UI stream for remote job. Project aims to automate content crafting/maintenance processes with the use of modern UI applications combined with ML capabilities. In this role, you will work as a React.JS front-end and Node.JS back-end developer to design and build components required for the UI part. You will collaborate with other team members to implement Cloud-react UI solutions using ReactJS, NodeJS, and following microservices patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design and build components required for the UI part of the Tax Research Modernization initiative, working as a React.JS front-end and Node.JS back-end developer
- Collaborate with other team members to implement Cloud-react UI solutions using ReactJS, NodeJS, and following microservices patterns
- Ensure code quality by following best practices and implementing automated tests
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
- Contribute to the development of technical specifications and documentation
- Work closely with the Product Owner to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in front-end and back-end development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in Javascript, including building Front-end applications (ReactJS) and back-end services (NodeJS)
- A deep knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment, Agile Software Development process, and accompanying tools (Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc), REST API, Git, AWS
- An assertive, studious, and enthusiastic personality; not afraid to ask questions when running into issues or provide feedback when necessary
- Ability to estimate long-running activities and produce supporting documentation of good quality
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
