We are seeking a talented Senior JavaScript Developer to join our remote team, working with a global leader in logistics and shipping services.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a front-end platform used for information management, shipment, and logistics services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilizing Agile methodologies for software development and delivery cycles, ensuring high-quality software delivery by performing regular testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a front-end platform used for information management, shipment, and logistics services
- Communicate effectively with team members and collaborate using Gitlab, ServiceNow, and other team tools
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) practices and pipeline for multiple projects
- Create and manage API Gateway, PostgreSQL, and other Amazon Web Services (AWS) components
- Follow Agile methodologies for software development and delivery cycles
- Ensure high-quality software delivery by performing regular testing, code reviews, and documentation
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript development, demonstrating expertise in building scalable and maintainable front-end applications
- Working knowledge of API Gateway, PostgreSQL, and other Amazon Web Services (AWS) components, enabling you to create and manage them
- Experience with Microservice Architecture Pattern and Apache Kafka
- Proficiency in ReactJS, Pick, Pack & Shipping process, and REST API
- Experience in following Agile methodologies for software development and delivery cycles
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or VueJS
- Proficiency in Python or other server-side programming languages
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda functions
