We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Java, React). You will build and support business-critical applications for a global data and analytics leader across Australia and New Zealand, keep the codebase current through upgrades, fix vulnerabilities and follow secure engineering standards. You will collaborate with local and global teams, use AI tools to improve delivery and take part in an on-call rotation to keep services reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance full stack applications using Java and React
  • Maintain and modernize the code base through technology upgrade
  • Fix vulnerabilities and remediate security findings in a timely way
  • Apply secure coding and development standards across the SDLC
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to plan, deliver and support releases
  • Use approved AI tools to speed up delivery and improve code quality
  • Provide maintenance and production support, including on-call rotation
  • Document technical decisions and support handovers to ensure continuity
Requirements
  • Java development expertise for building scalable services
  • React skills for delivering usable, responsive Front-end experiences
  • Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or spec-driven development
  • Knowledge of secure development practices and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience working in distributed teams across time zones
  • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively and responsibly
  • Clear communication in English for cross-team collaboration
  • Comfortable with support ownership including on-call participation
Nice to have
  • Experience with Spring Boot in production environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and continuous delivery practices
  • Exposure to observability practices (logging, monitoring, alerting)
