We are seeking a Senior React Developer in Shanghai to build scalable, accessible web experiences with React and TypeScript. You will shape reusable UI components, influence Front-end architecture and partner with designers, stakeholders and delivery teams to ship production-ready solutions from our EPAM office.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
  • Build reusable UI components and contribute to enterprise design systems
  • Implement responsive, accessible and high-performance user interfaces
  • Partner with UX and UI teams to turn designs into production-ready Front-end builds
  • Contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions
  • Write clean, maintainable and testable code aligned to engineering best practices
  • Review code, mentor engineers and raise team quality standards
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing applications across releases
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience building Front-end applications with React and TypeScript
  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and responsive web design
  • Experience with state management such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand
  • Track record of success in building complex web apps, dashboards, or component libraries
  • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns and Front-end best practices
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
  • Familiarity with build tooling such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel
  • Clear communication in English with comfort collaborating with stakeholders and Agile teams
Nice to have
  • Experience with Figma and strong UI or UX collaboration skills
  • Experience building design systems or contributing to component standards
  • Experience with Next.js, Remix, Node.js, or Express
