We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with Python to join our team supporting the evolution of an advanced legal technology application. The product leverages cutting-edge AI and machine learning to build solutions for legal professionals, helping them work more efficiently and provide higher-quality representation to more clients. In this mixed Dev (70%) and Ops (30%) role, you will contribute to a centralized AI Assistant service leveraged enterprise-wide and help create a Generative AI Platform through a common AI skill creation framework.
Responsibilities
- Migrate internal Docker images and their dependents from GCR to Artifact Registry
- Upgrade Docker images and application dependencies
- Address vulnerabilities in Python applications
- Audit and update privileges and cloud service configurations using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Participate in GCP to AWS migration and Disaster Recovery game
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional, production-level ops experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Expertise in AWS and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Background in Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Auth basics, with the capability to implement or fix items based on that knowledge (OnePass → Azure B2C CIAM migration)
- Low ego, collaborative but self-starting, and an effective communicator
- Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation, SOC2, and Jenkins
- Skills in Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Background in backing up and restoring PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
