We are seeking a remote Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical problems efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure efficient and reliable operation of systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, AWS services malfunctions, user technical issues, and bad user experience
- React on monitoring system alerts
- Provide resolution for escalated service tickets
- Escalate issues to the DevOps team
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS infrastructure
- Expertise in AWS services such as Glue, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateways, DynamoDB, RDS, EKS, and EMR
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python (preferably), Ruby, Perl, and Bash
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and ELK
- Understanding of basic principles of CI/CD
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems efficiently and effectively
- Understanding of basic principles of securing cross-service communication (AAA, TLS, SSO), with AWS IAM experience
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical ideas in a business-friendly language
