We are seeking a highly skilled remote Senior DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise to join our Data Engineering team.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of relevant work experience and will help Data Engineering teams automate the process of deployment, release, and orchestration of data pipeline jobs. Our team is building data pipelines using Databricks (PySpark) on AWS, and the candidate will be responsible for writing CI/CD scripts, migrating from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, and improving application monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Help Data Engineering teams automate the process of deployment, release, and orchestration of data pipeline jobs
- Write CI/CD scripts and migrate from Jenkins to GitHub Actions
- Write CDK Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deploying new jobs
- Write AWS Step Functions that will orchestrate running jobs
- Improve monitoring of the application
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with AWS and Databricks (pySpark)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Experience with CDK and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with AWS Step Functions and orchestration of jobs
- B2+ English level
