We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in AWS to join our remote team and work on infrastructure management and migration projects in AWS. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the infrastructure for our client's web applications and services, including migration to AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and infrastructure engineering, as well as experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, and S3 buckets
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure
- Develop and maintain automation tools for infrastructure management, using tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket
- Ensure the security of the infrastructure, using tools like IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail
- Develop and maintain monitoring and logging tools, using tools like CloudWatch and Elasticsearch
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the infrastructure, both proactively and reactively
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS
- Strong knowledge and working experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, and RDS
- Familiarity with infrastructure and network engineering (VPC, NAT, ACL, private links, security groups, etc)
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other process automation and engineering tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python and Bash
- Experience with containerization tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Azure AD and other identity and access management systems
