We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in AWS to join our remote team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work in collaboration with Architects, Design Experts, and Operations to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support. You will also be responsible for ensuring operational supportability of design/development by working with the operations team during the design and development phase. You will take accountability to ensure adherence with security and compliance policies and document as required by quality, qualification processes, and cloud platform services. You will also automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions, guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products, and drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments.
- Design, code, implement and support cloud product releases and enhancements
- Maintain backlog and support Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning
- Ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and properly documented
- Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment
- Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment
- Collaborate with Architects to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support
- Ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies
- Document technical solutions clearly and concisely in written documentation
- Drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments
- Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in AWS
- Fluent in at least one scripting language – Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Expertise in Terraform and AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
- Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Proficiency in Linux, experience with Windows Server a plus
- Knowledge of IP networking and security in AWS – VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
- Agile/Scrum Certification
