We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in AWS to join our remote team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based cloud solutions, emphasizing best practices of cloud security. You will work closely with Architects, Design Experts, and Operations to integrate new solutions and perform post-release operational support. You will be accountable for ensuring adherence to security and compliance policies and will document solutions as required by quality and qualification processes. You will automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions and guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals.
- Design, code, implement, and support Cloud product releases and enhancements in close collaboration with Architects
- Integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support in close collaboration with Design Experts and Operations
- Maintain backlog and support Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning
- Ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with operations team during design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and properly documented
- Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies
- Document solutions as required by quality and qualification processes and cloud platform services
- Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
- Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
- Drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments
- Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment
- Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and maintaining AWS-based cloud solutions
- Expertise in AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
- Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Proficiency in Linux, with experience in Windows Server being a plus
- Expertise in Terraform, Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Familiarity with IP networking and security in AWS, including VPNs, DNS, and Load Balancing
- Experience in influencing the design of complex public cloud infrastructure solutions in view of automated operations
- Ability to script and automate with one or more of Python, Bash, or Groovy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
