We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in AWS to join our remote team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working closely with Architects to design, code, implement, and support cloud product releases and enhancements. You will also work with Operations and Design Experts to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support. This role requires strong experience in AWS Security, Identity & Compliance and experience with DevOps orchestration/configuration/continuous integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Architects to design, code, implement, and support cloud product releases and enhancements
- Collaborate with Operations and Design Experts to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support
- Maintain backlog and support Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning
- Ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with Operations team during design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and are properly documented
- Ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies
- Document as required by quality, qualification processes and cloud platform services
- Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
- Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
- Drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments
- Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment and ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, working on a broad range of AWS technologies to develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security
- Expertise in AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
- Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Proficiency in Terraform, Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Knowledge of IP networking and security in AWS - VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Engineering experience - responsible for influencing the design of complex public cloud Infrastructure solutions in view of automated operations
- Certification in DevOps Engineer and Agile/Scrum
