Senior DevOps Engineer for AWS

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for AWS to join our remote team. You will be responsible for automating continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions, ensuring the adherence to Security and Compliance policies, and guiding customers in the installation and use of strategic products. You will also drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Design Experts, and Operations to implement and support Cloud product releases and enhancements
  • Ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with operations team during design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and are properly documented
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies
  • Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
  • Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
  • Drive architectural improvements and standardization of Cloud environments
  • Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment
  • Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of DevOps experience, working on a broad range of AWS technologies to develop and maintain AWS based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security
  • Thorough knowledge of AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
  • Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server
  • Expertise in Terraform, Python, Bash, and Ruby
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation with one or more of: Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Knowledge of IP networking and security in AWS – VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing
  • Good communicational skills
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
