We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the modernization, governance, and scaling of our developer tooling platform.
This role requires deep, hands-on enterprise-level expertise in GitHub Actions (including runner configuration and scaling), Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will be responsible for planning and executing complex migrations of major development tools to SaaS, securing pipelines, and building resilient developer infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and scale GitHub Actions at an enterprise level, overseeing self-hosted runner infrastructure, runner groups, and network/proxy constraints
- Design secure CI/CD pipeline architectures that align with enterprise security standards
- Utilize Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) to automate, provision, and scale ephemeral runner environments and platform services
- Plan, coordinate, and execute migrations of enterprise-level development tooling from on-premises infrastructure to SaaS, including stakeholder management and phased rollout strategies
- Manage and optimize Artifactory architecture, including repository structures for Maven, npm, PyPI, NuGet, and Docker
- Configure replication, permission structures, and retention policies within artifact and package management systems
- Enforce security best practices across CI/CD pipelines, including least-privilege token usage, environment protection, CODEOWNERS configuration, and signed actions
- Administer SonarQube/SonarCloud platforms, defining Quality Gates and managing Pull Request analysis workflows
- Configure and scale Dependabot across diverse technology ecosystems, including scheduling and dependency grouping
- Remediate security vulnerabilities identified through dependency management tooling
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Developer Platform Engineering, Systems Administration, or DevOps with a platform-centric focus
- Advanced, hands-on experience configuring, managing, and scaling GitHub Actions at an enterprise scale, with demonstrated deep technical understanding rather than surface-level familiarity
- Proven experience migrating at least one major tooling platform (such as CI/CD, Artifactory, or Sonar) to a SaaS environment
- Solid Linux administration skills for managing and maintaining server environments
- Proficiency with YAML for configuring pipelines, infrastructure, and automation workflows
- Strong understanding of package management using JFrog Artifactory and dependency management tools such as Dependabot
- Strong scripting abilities in Python or Go, paired with solid networking fundamentals covering TLS, proxies, and DNS
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher
Nice to have
- Strong, practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform within enterprise-scale environments
- Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks
- Experience with Azure Containers for deploying and managing containerized workloads
- Working knowledge of Bash for scripting and automating system-level tasks
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles for integrating security practices throughout the development lifecycle
