We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role involves operations primarily, with development tasks, focusing on system upgrades, cloud migration support, and implementing cutting-edge tech solutions. Responsibilities
- Fulfill a combined operations (70%) and development (30%) role tailored to project needs
- Migrate Docker images and dependencies from Google Container Registry to Artifact Registry
- Conduct version upgrades for Docker images and application dependencies
- Identify security issues in Python apps and implement fixes
- Audit and improve cloud privileges and services using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Support cloud migration efforts from GCP to AWS and help with disaster recovery strategies
- Partner with teams to boost infrastructure stability, scalability, and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years operating in production-level DevOps roles
- Strong skills with Amazon EKS and AWS environments
- Comprehensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in Python development
- Experience with authentication workflows including Azure B2C CIAM migrations
- Hands-on familiarity with Azure Active Directory B2C
- Effective communicator with a self-motivated and team-oriented mindset
- English proficiency at B2 level for effective interaction and documentation
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related tech field
- Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation, SOC2 standards, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Elasticsearch
- Experience managing backups and restores for PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting AWS service interactions
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform environments
