We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to develop and sustain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. This role involves a balance of 70% operations and 30% development, focusing on system modernization, cloud migration support, and delivering advanced technology services. Responsibilities
- Engage in a dual-role with 70% focus on operations and 30% on development, shifting as needed
- Migrate Docker images and related dependencies from GCR to Artifact Registry
- Implement updates for Docker images and application dependencies
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in Python applications
- Audit and adjust cloud service permissions using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Support cloud migration from GCP to AWS and disaster recovery plans
- Coordinate with teams to enhance infrastructure scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in production-level DevOps operations
- Proficient in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and AWS
- Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes technologies
- Skilled in Python programming
- Knowledge of authentication systems with experience in Azure B2C CIAM migrations
- Familiar with Azure Active Directory B2C
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative and self-driven attitude
- English proficiency at B2 level for effective communication and documentation
Nice to have
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields
- Familiar with AWS CloudFormation, SOC2, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Elasticsearch
- Experience managing backups and restores of PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot AWS service-to-service communication
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
