Senior DevOps Engineer

Amazon Web Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Ansible, Gitlab CI, Graylog

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us build and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as supporting our development teams in deploying and scaling their applications.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS
Automate the deployment and scaling of our applications using tools such as Ansible and Gitlab CI
Monitor and improve the performance and availability of our systems using tools such as Grafana and Graylog
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable architectures for their applications
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud infrastructure
Participate in on-call rotation for production support

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS
Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Graylog
Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Gitlab CI
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies, serverless architectures and microservices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level

Nice to have

Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
Certifications in AWS or related fields
Experience with other automation tools such as Puppet or Chef
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
