We are looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with architects and design experts to implement and support cloud product releases and enhancements. You will also work closely with operations teams to integrate new solutions and provide post-release operational support. Your role will involve continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions automation, and you will guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products. You will be accountable for ensuring adherence to security and compliance policies and documenting as required by quality, qualification processes, and cloud platform services. Additionally, you will help to drive architectural improvements and standardization of cloud environments.
- Collaborate with architects in designing, coding, implementing, and supporting cloud product releases and enhancements
- Work in close collaboration with design experts and operations to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support
- Maintain backlog and support Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning
- Ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with operations teams during the design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and are properly documented
- Take accountability to ensure adherence to security and compliance policies
- Document as required by quality, qualification processes, and cloud platform services
- Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
- Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
- Help to drive architectural improvements and standardization of cloud environments
- Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment
- Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within the enterprise IT environment
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, working on a broad range of AWS technologies to develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security
- Experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
- Experience with Linux
- Proficient in Python, Bash, and Ruby programming languages
- Experience with AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
