We are searching for a reliable and innovative Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing, scripting, and a strong understanding of CI/CD principles. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play an integral role in improving our operations environment to ensure optimal performance, covering areas such as CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud computing. Additionally, you will apply innovative problem-solving techniques to automate workflows and maximize the operational efficiency of our software engineering team.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or an equivalent
- Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
- Develop and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting solutions to track system health and security
- Design and implement reliable cloud solutions along with service-oriented architectures
- Ensure systems' availability, performance, scalability and security meet standards
- Collaborate with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability
- Proven experience of over 3 years with CI/CD and version control tools, logging and monitoring
- Demonstrated experience with Docker, Kubernetes and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell or Bash
- Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools (any of Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Graylog, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Zabbix or similar)
- Deep knowledge of cloud platform solutions with proven experience maintaining cloud-based, production-grade environments like AWS, GCP or Azure
- Understanding of networking and security architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- English level of B2 or higher
