We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help drive our client's credit bureau project to success. Our client is a renowned credit bureau that provides credit information and analysis for millions of individuals and businesses around the world. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and automation solutions to support our client's mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure and automation solutions to support our client's critical systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous integration and deployment processes into the software development lifecycle
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using latest technologies, automating the provisioning and management of cloud resources
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system performance and availability
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures, ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Requirements
- Proven 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer, designing, and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and automation solutions
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Experience with Git and Apache Maven for source code management and build automation
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, applying GCP services to enhance DevOps processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, showcasing versatility in cloud infrastructure
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Chef, for automated configuration management and deployment
