Senior DevOps Engineer

We are developing a cloud-based platform that leverages cutting-edge technology to provide our clients with scalable and reliable solutions. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us build and maintain our infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure the health and performance of our infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Amazon Web Services
  • Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
  • Strong scripting skills, with experience in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
  • Experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles and best practices
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
  • Strong understanding of networking and security concepts, including VPC, security groups, and IAM
  • Experience in monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with other infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Ansible
  • Experience with other container orchestration tools like Nomad or Swarm
