We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project that leverages the latest cloud technologies. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our cloud-based applications. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using IaC tools such as Terraform
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our applications using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, security groups, and IAM roles and policies
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the DevOps team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proven experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Experience with networking and security in AWS, including VPCs, security groups, and IAM roles and policies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices and tools
