We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and drive the implementation of cutting-edge DevOps practices and tools. Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical and medical technologies corporation that is committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance and save lives. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our client's systems are highly available, secure, and scalable. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps processes and tools that enable efficient software delivery and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure and automation solutions using IaC and other DevOps tools
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient software delivery
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software development and delivery
- Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and stability of production systems
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing scalable and performant solutions to enhance the overall system functionality
- Ensure that all infrastructure and automation solutions comply with the customer's security and compliance standards, adhering to best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and automation solutions
- Participate in Code Reviews as a reviewer, ensuring code quality and conformity with best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong foundation in DevOps practices and principles
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible for efficient infrastructure management and automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Groovy, facilitating efficient and automated software delivery
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD for efficient and scalable application deployment
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools like Velero for data backup and recovery
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere and other virtualization technologies for efficient and scalable resource management
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus for efficient system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ for efficient message processing and communication
- Solid understanding of network basics, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols
- Advanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level), enabling effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, enabling multi-cloud strategies
- Experience with other monitoring and alerting tools like ELK Stack, Grafana, or Nagios, enhancing the monitoring capabilities of the systems
- Experience with other message brokers like Kafka or ActiveMQ, broadening the technical knowledge within the team
