Our medical care project is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us maintain our cloud-based infrastructure. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our client's medical care applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure for our patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our medical care applications
- Collaborate with our development team to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Automate the deployment of our applications using Azure Pipelines and other tools
- Monitor the performance of our applications and infrastructure, and respond to issues as needed
- Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data
- Manage our Azure Cosmos DB environment, including backups, failover, and disaster recovery
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Helm
- Experience with code analysis tools such as Sonar and Blackduck Code Security Analyzer
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
- Strong spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Chef
