Senior DevOps Engineer

Join our remote team as a Senior DevOps Engineer and take charge of driving the migration process from one Kubernetes cluster to another while supporting our microservice-based application running on Kubernetes clusters. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth migration of the whole infrastructure (PROD/Non-PROD) and data to a new Kubernetes cluster without significant downtime. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the current infrastructure and keeping it up to date. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects in an innovative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the migration process from one Kubernetes cluster to another
  • Ensure a smooth migration of the whole infrastructure (PROD/Non-PROD) and data to a new Kubernetes cluster without significant downtime
  • Maintain and improve the current infrastructure and keep it up to date
  • Ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of the microservice-based application running on Kubernetes clusters
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product and Program Management, and senior technical staff to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Provide technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
  • Ensure continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Actively contribute to architectural and technical discussions
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles
  • Expertise in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters
  • Good working knowledge in Linux and Docker for system administration and containerization
  • Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience in Cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins, Spinnaker, and Git for version control, integration, and deployment
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Couchbase, and Helm for building scalable and high-performance applications
  • Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki for monitoring and logging purposes
  • Familiarity with KeyCloak for identity and access management
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

  • Experience with Spinnaker, Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is a plus
