Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, contributing to the development and deployment of our cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, automate, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services, utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our cloud-based solutions, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of software updates
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, utilizing monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance of our cloud infrastructure
- Automate and streamline deployment processes, utilizing scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC, and Security Groups
- Manage infrastructure as code and version control systems, such as Git, ensuring consistency and version control of our cloud infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, demonstrating expertise in Amazon Web Services, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby, enabling you to automate and streamline deployment processes
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security, including IAM, VPC, and Security Groups, and experience in implementing security best practices
- Hands-on experience in monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Experience in managing infrastructure as code and version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in managing and deploying serverless applications on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring and management tools such as Terraform Cloud, CloudFormation or Ansible.
